Record a voice note after the appointment. Mirage Lumen turns it into a clean draft clinical note. You review it, edit if needed, then paste it into the system you already use.
Built for private dentists and dental locums. Starting in the UK and Australia. Apply for early access.

After the appointment, you record a short voice note describing what you found and what you did. Mirage Lumen converts that recording into a clean, structured draft clinical note on your device. You review it, make any edits, then copy it into whatever system you already use.
Once the patient has left, open the app and record a short voice note. Speak naturally — describe what you found, what you did, and anything relevant to the record. Takes about the same time as a normal handwritten entry.
Mirage Lumen transcribes and structures your voice note into a clean clinical note draft, directly on your device. No patient audio is sent to Mirage servers for transcription.
Read the draft before doing anything with it. Edit anything that needs changing. Mirage Lumen does not file notes automatically. You decide what gets filed and when.
Copy the approved note and paste it into the software you already use. No integration required. No changes to your current setup. Works wherever you work.
Stop carrying unwritten notes home. Record while the appointment is fresh, get a clean draft in minutes, and clear the backlog before you leave for the day.
A mobile app that goes with you between sites. No practice-wide software to install. Useful whether you work in one location or across several, including as a locum.
Patient audio is processed locally on your device. It is not sent to Mirage servers for transcription. You stay in control of where note generation happens.
Lumen creates a draft. You read it, correct anything that needs changing, and decide what gets filed. The clinical note that enters the record is the one you approved.
Structured drafts help produce more complete notes than rushed handwritten entries at the end of a long list. Useful for your own consistency and for any future review of the record.
Copy and paste the approved note into whatever system you already use. No integration, no onboarding your whole team, no changes to existing infrastructure.
Mirage Lumen is designed for the individual clinician first. If you own the practice, you can still use it the same way.
Finish your list, record your notes, and have clean drafts ready to file before you leave. No more writing up from memory at the end of the day or carrying unfinished notes home.
As a locum you move between different systems and practices. Mirage Lumen works on your phone and pastes into anything. No dependency on the host practice's setup.
Each clinician uses the app independently. No practice-wide installation needed. Useful if you want to improve note consistency across a small team without a full platform rollout.
Note generation happens on the device in your hand. Patient audio is not sent to Mirage servers for transcription. The processing stays where you are.
We do not receive patient audio for transcription. The content of your recordings is not accessible to Mirage Interactive during the note generation process.
If you choose to use optional cloud storage for your own backup or access across devices, that is a clinician-controlled decision. It is not required to use the app.
Mirage Lumen does not file notes. It produces a draft that you review and approve. You control what enters the patient record and when.
Built with awareness of UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. We are not making blanket compliance claims — these are design considerations, and your own obligations as a clinician still apply.
Mirage Lumen assists with drafting. It does not make clinical decisions or author records autonomously. Every note filed is one you have reviewed and approved.
Every generated note is clearly marked as a draft pending clinician review. This is a deliberate design choice to support good professional governance and make the review step explicit.
A note on compliance language: We have deliberately avoided terms like "fully GDPR compliant", "GDC approved", or "CQC-ready" because blanket compliance claims require evidence we have not yet published. What we can say is that Mirage Lumen is designed with these obligations in mind, and we can discuss specifics with any clinician or practice evaluating the product.
We are working with a small group of private dentists and dental locums in the UK and Australia to test the core workflow and collect structured feedback. We are not publishing performance numbers we do not yet have. What we are testing:

Individual clinicians first. The app is designed for a single dentist to use on their own phone. If multiple dentists in a practice want to use it, each one sets it up independently. There is no practice-wide installation, no admin dashboard, and no requirement to involve your practice manager or principal.
Yes — this is one of the main use cases. Mirage Lumen runs on your phone. It does not depend on the host practice's software, network, or systems. You record your note after each appointment and paste the approved draft into whatever system the practice uses. No setup required from the host site.
No. There are no software integrations in v1. The workflow is: record, generate draft, review and edit, copy, paste into whatever you already use. That is the intentional design. It works with any software that has a text field, which means it works with everything — Dentally, SFD, Exact, Carestream, or a plain Word document.
Yes — that is the primary workflow. You finish the appointment, the patient leaves, and then you record your note. Post-appointment dictation is the main use case for v1. It takes about the same time as writing a note from memory, but produces a cleaner, more structured result.
No. Note generation is processed locally on your device. Patient audio is not sent to Mirage servers for transcription. If you choose to use optional cloud storage for your own notes, that is a separate, clinician-controlled decision and is not required to use the app.
Yes — always. Mirage Lumen generates a draft and presents it to you for review. You read it, make any corrections, and decide what gets filed. The app does not automatically submit or file anything. Every note that enters the patient record is one you have explicitly reviewed and approved.
No. Mirage Lumen is a drafting tool. It converts what you say into a structured text draft. It does not interpret clinical findings, make diagnostic suggestions, or advise on treatment. The clinical content of any note is entirely determined by what you say and what you approve. You remain the clinical author and the responsible clinician.
The primary focus for v1 is private dental practice in the UK and Australia. NHS dentists can use the app — the workflow is the same — but we are not targeting NHS contracting, UDA documentation, or NHS-specific compliance requirements as the main story at launch. If you work across both, you can use it for your private work.
Mirage Lumen is an Android-first mobile app at launch. iOS support is being evaluated and may follow, but public rollout is currently focused on Android. Full device compatibility details will be confirmed before the pilot opens to new participants. If you have a specific device requirement, mention it in your pilot application.
Mirage Lumen is a paid subscription. There is no free tier. During the current pilot, pricing and access terms are discussed directly with participants. Pilot participants get direct access to the team and input into the product roadmap. To get pricing details and discuss pilot access, submit the form below.
We are accepting a small number of pilot participants in the UK and Australia.
